Got a bunch of new followers on TikTok, but don’t know how to convert them into your paying customers? Here’s some easy tips to follow, and SELL to your new following!
#1 – Put a link in your bio
This one only works if you have at least 1,000 followers. Remember, just because someone has come in contact with you doesn’t mean they’re ready to buy from you. You need to capture their attention now, so that they will buy from you in the future.
In order to do this, you need to have a GOOD free item to offer them – a downloadable guide, a video tutorial, a discount code, etc. This will give them a taste of what you have to offer, and has the potential to convert them into a “forever client.”
#2 – Text in your videos
Even if it’s just a video on TikTok of me dancing, I always include text in my videos that is teaching about business and branding, and has a call to action – “send me a DM” or “follow me on IG”.
#3 – Use your DMs
People LOVE to talk to creators on TikTok. When you talk and engage with your followers in your comments, or more in your DMs, you can answer their questions, send them links, or sell your products. When you go into your DMs, you can send people clickable links, unlike the comment section.
Follow these tips, and remember, people buy from people that they LIKE, KNOW, AND TRUST. Build that knowledge and trust with your audience on TikTok, and you’ll have paying customers in no time!
